You need at least the following fixes to begin approximating toward super AI intelligence:
- Give AI direct sensory grounding (sight, sound, touch) tied to internal concepts. This is a form of embodied AI — where meaning is tied to the agent’s interaction with the world.
- Develop meta-reasoning layers — self-modeling systems that monitor their own rule-based limits and reason about what they can’t prove or know.
- Build architectures capable of abstract conceptual invention, not just pattern-matching — possibly inspired by proof assistants + symbolic reasoning + world modeling.
- Develop systems with epistemic state-tracking: where the AI knows what it “believes”, what it’s unsure of, and updates beliefs when shown contradictions.
